Yamaha Launches the STAGEPAS 100BTR mkII Portable PA With USB/Bluetooth Audio I/O

Yamaha Corporation is pleased to announce the STAGEPAS 100BTR mkII, an improved battery-powered portable PA system which features USB/Bluetooth audio input/output and fast charging. Offering enhanced flexibility and support for hybrid audio applications, STAGEPAS 100BTR mkII strikes the perfect balance between high quality sound, versatile performance and exceptional portability.

The popular STAGEPAS 100 series allows virtually any location to be turned into an intimate live stage. Available in two versions, the compact design delivers a surprisingly powerful sound, drawing on the same advanced technologies found in Yamaha's high end professional audio products.

The new STAGEPAS 100BTR mkII complements the mains-powered STAGEPAS 100 model, by adding a built-in lithium-ion battery and audio I/O functionality via Bluetooth and a two in/two out USB-C connection. This allows audio to be sent to and from a computer or smartphone and used for hybrid applications, such as streaming live performances or online seminars via mobile devices connected to a network.

Both STAGEPAS 100 versions feature three mono mic/line inputs, a stereo line input and an XLR output. A powerful, high-quality coaxial compression driver, Class-D power amplifier, master two-band EQ and Yamaha’s FIR-X filters deliver impressively clear, loud sound with precise phase response and natural dispersion, ensuring every nuance of a performance or presentation is heard by the audience.

Featuring a lightweight yet durable design, straightforward operation and very fast setup, the unit’s coverage can be adjusted vertically as well as horizontally. It can also be pole-mounted for optimal sound coverage.

STAGEPAS 100BTR mkII’s new features mean it can deliver crystal clear sound to anyone, anywhere, as well as to a local audience. With 60-100 W USB quick charging and up to six hours of battery life, it takes the concept of an ultra-portable PA to a new level.
