SWP2

System Examples for Enhanced Convenience and Control

SWP2 series switches not only make it easier to design and install audio network systems, but result in more convenient and controllable installations as well.

Example 1: Redundant Dante network with VLAN

Example 1: Redundant Dante network with VLAN

In this example VLAN Preset C has been set up on the SWP2 series switches, with the Dante primary line assigned to VLAN1 and the secondary line assigned to VLAN2. Only two switches are needed for redundant cable connections.

Example 2: VLAN for separating control signals from audio signals

Example 2: VLAN for separating control signals from audio signals

In this case VLAN Preset A is used, where VLAN1 handles the Dante network while VLAN2 hosts control signals such as for Editor or StageMix from Dante’s audio signals, making the network more stable.

Example3 : 96kHz Dante network system with the large number channels

Example3 : 96kHz Dante network system with the large number channels

The SWP2 series equips the 10G uplink optical ports, allowing operation without fear of insufficient bandwidth even on a Dante network that is set to a sampling frequency of 96 kHz. It is a scalable solution that grows with a 96kHz Dante network system with the large number channels.

Example 4: Long distance connection

Example 4: Long distance connection

In this example VLAN Preset C has been set up on the SWP2-MMF and SWP2-SMF switches, with the Dante primary line assigned to VLAN1 and the secondary line assigned to VLAN2. Single mode Optical fiber connection between the switches allows reliable data transmission over distances of up to 10 kilo meters.
