How would you characterise your instrument?
I have my first Yamaha marimba from 2019 and My marimba sounds warm and deep in the low area and bright as i like in the high register. I'll say my marimba is my loyal friend in music, accompanying me through all the preparations for my concerts, recitals, and personal projects.
Who was your most influential teacher and is there any advice which you still follow?
My professor, Jean Geoffroy, profoundly transformed my musical universe and continues to inspire me with a wealth of artistic ideas to this day. I vividly recall the very first words he imparted to me during our first lesson: "Always put yourself in danger, and don't just present something on stage; instead, leave something.”
Advice for a young musician:
Don't aim to be the best, but strive to be yourself.
