Yamaha AW2816 MIDI Remote Template DX Controller Overview This template allows you to control the parameters of DX series synthesizers (DX7, DX7IIFD, DX7IID, TX802, TX816, PLG150-DX) remotely from the AW2816. Features By assigning frequently used parameters of your DX series synthesizer to the switches and faders of the AW2816, you can edit the synthesizer directly from the AW2816. How to use
Caution - This template was created with a device ID of 1. If the device ID of your DX synthesizer is set to a value other than 1, you will need to set its value to 1 before using the template. - If you would like to save any edits you have made, you will need to store them on the DX synthesizer. - If the DX synthesizer and AW2816 are connected in a MIDI loop, the faders may stop responding. In such an event, disconnect one of the MIDI cables to restore normal operating conditions. - The DX synthesizer may stop responding when receiving large amounts of system exclusive data. In such a case, switch the synthesizer to Voice mode to recover the unit. - This template was made with version 1.0 of the DX Simulator. Some functions of certain DX synthesizer models may not be supported.
