Alto and Bass Flutes refined
The acclaimed models YFL-A421 and YFL-B441 have been refined. Both models feature an improved headjoint for clearer response, resonance and richer tone. Besides that the bass flute facilitates an increased volume especially in the low range. The adjustment system adopted from our professional flutes ensures improved stability of key adjustment.

New V1 Neck
for Alto Saxophone YAS-875EX
With the V1 neck Yamaha offers a new alternative to the G1 neck. It facilitates the response and intonation of the higher register, especially high-F and -F#. While the playability is close to the G1 it yet accepts more air resulting in a wider and rounder sound. The V1 neck is available in gold lacquer, silver-plated and gold-plated.

The development of instruments at Yamaha has one goal only – to give an instrument to the musician which allows the player maximum expressive capabilities. To offer a wider range of professional Flugelhorns which reaches all different demands of Artists - Yamaha started a new project 2 years ago. In consultation with world class artists we designed a new generation of Flugelhorns in our R&D facilities with out- standing results: The new YFH-8310Z and YFH-8315G expand the classical sound spectrum of the established Yamaha YFH-631G. Both models have their own style for different types of players and offer individual ways of expression. Be inspired!

Revolution of YAMAHA Xylophone
The 500 Series xylophones offer a full, authentic wood sound. It features twoposition resonator slots and wide size bars for consistent tone quality throughout the range of the instrument. The new SFZ short marching snare drum
The new 14” x 9” marching snare drum is a full three inches shorter in depth than the standard Yamaha SFZ Snare drum. With a short nine-inch shell depth for a quick snare response, the drum offers a light weight six-ply birch shell for a clear articulate projection. Additionally it allows an easier range of movement for competitive indoor marching ensembles. Available in five standard Yamaha finishes.

The new Cello VC20G
The new violoncello VC20G is a mid grade violoncello for advanced students which creates a great bright and clear sound. The wood material has been carefully selected like Yamahas higher class violins. The VC20G has an artistic shading finish with hand brushed oil varnish.
